About Me

I'm 43, with 3 children, ranging in ages from 20 to 15. I bring to the table my experience and awareness of the marketplace. Through a serendipitous blend of intuition, and intelligent engagement I help clients develop successful projects. My experience teaching writing gave me an ability to communicate with clients and collaborators through mutual respect. My skill for bringing clarity to complex ideas is the key to my true value.

You may notice that unlike others my website is not fancy, I don't have 'e-books' for sale, I don't offer 'seminars' or 'free conference calls' to get your money. I'm not a 'cottage industry' unto myself. I'm a woman who is constantly fascinated by the written word, more importantly I love stories and I find it challenging and compelling (and dare I say FUN) to help people who want to share find effective and elegant ways to do just that.  This is not just my job or even my career it's my VOCATION.

I'm a read-a-holic and a classic Bluestocking (lady who loves books). I read everything from fiction (my favorite is historical) to current events (Malcolm Gladwell) to anything on the Hay House catalog. Although I am not discrimnatory I am discerning.  I know what I like and am willing to plow through piles of middling stuff to find it.

I believe everyone has any number of great stories in them. It doesn't matter whether they are based on their real life, whether they are important insights particular to their area of business or expertise, or if they are the wildest most unrealistic fun fiction. I don't discriminate. I prefer to keep my services open to a variety of types and styles to assure that I never get 'stale' on one type. I could tout myself as THE self-help book writing expert and work only on those types of projects. But after two or three I'd be tearing my hair out.

I find as I gain experience that the story, the style, or even the goal are less important than WHO is on the other end of the project. I like to work with people I like. It's that simple. If I can help you I'm more than ready willing and able to serve. If I can't I'll be frank.

It's true that I'm particularly facile new age subjects and philosophical perspectives which gives me a particular talent for the quirky and unusual but I also can pare down and write great informative prose.

I’m adept at bringing  core elements to light. My clients feel understood and recognized throughout the process. Ultimately they are delighted with the end result, a successful manuscript that satisfies their goals. The complex urges that that drove them to ‘write’ or publish in the first place are satisfied.
